Last week Eosense attended the annual American Society of Agronomy, Crop Science Society of America, Soil Science Society of America’s 2016 Fall Meeting in Phoenix, AZ.  Every year we are amazed with all the incredible research and learning opportunities all under the same roof. From taking in the sights on the first day with the Urban Soils Tour to the knowledge filled poster halls.

Our President Gordon McArthur joined with Picarro‘s David Kim-Hak and presented data using an automated chamber system coupled to a new low power and portable laser-based greenhouse gas analyzer (Picarro GasScouter, G4301).  The focus of the presentation was on the methodological and field deployment benefits of the automated system over the manual system.  These benefits were demonstrated through the deployment of the instrumentation at a constructed wetland field site in Nova Scotia, Canada, where the system monitored CO2 and CH4 fluxes continuously over a 10 day period.
